Professor Wen-Chang Huang Young Statistician Award

To honor Professor Wen-Chang Huang’s dedication to mentoring and nurturing young scholars, the Chinese Society for Probability and Statistics has established the Professor Wen-Chang Huang Young Statistician Award. Nominations are now open. Details of the award are as follows:

Award Details

  • Number of Awards: 2 recipients (1 in Theoretical Statistics, 1 in Applied Statistics)

  • Prize: Each awardee will receive a cash prize of NT$60,000 and a certificate.

  • Awardee Lecture: Awardees will be invited to present at this year’s Southern Statistics Conference, which will be held at National Cheng Kung University from June 25–26, 2026.

Nomination Period

From now until April 30, 2026.
