 演講題目: An fMRI Hyperscanning Study on Coordination vs Competition

 演講內容: How are coordinating behaviors different from their competing counterparts? The current study explores this issue through an fMRI hyperscanning experiment in which triadic players share the same Nash equilibrium strategy. Each player of the coordinating pair (defenders) must choose one of four possible options to catch the opponent player (attacker), who will simultaneously seek the unchosen one. Despite similar patterns of randomized choices consistent with the theoretical prediction, players exhibit a significant win-shift loss-stay (WSLS) tendency across both roles. In addition, players with a higher WSLS tendency as attackers also have a higher WSLS tendency as defenders. Moreover, we find that coordinating defenders are more likely to shift after choosing the same option as their partner than after choosing the same option as their opponents, suggesting the partner’s greater influence.
